The Feast for the Future Program was recently featured in the Center for Disease & Prevention's (CDC) five-part Compendium of Traditional Food Stories -- Part V - Traditional Foods in Native America, The compendium highlights more than 30 American Indian and Alaska Native communities engaged in food sovereignty and traditional foods promotion efforts. The Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health is grateful for the opportunity the CDC has offered by choosing to share the Feast for the Future Program. We are honored to be among so many influential programs working to improve the health of their American Indian and Alaska Native communities through traditional food practices.
